My name is Vladimir Vedock, DC (Dr. Vlad) and I am the owner of Peak Chiropractic! I graduated with my Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, TX in 2018. I have practiced in Wills Point, TX and Highlands, NC. I am excited to be in the High Country as my goal has always been to come back to Boone and provide affordable and professional wellness based chiropractic care. My approach to care is patient focused. I have worked with patients as young as 3 days old to patients in their late 90s.
I will take the time to figure out why you are experiencing your pain and discomfort to determine how to get you feeling better as quickly as possible. For many patients, this may be the first time in years that they have felt true relief as their body heals and functions at its optimum. My adjusting techniques are gentle, specific, and driven by your goals. I am Advanced Proficiency rated in the Activator Methods Technique and offer gentle and effective tool based adjusting. I am also trained in a wide range of manual adjusting techniques including Diversified, Thompson, and Gonstead. This variety allows me to individualize your care and focus precisely on what you need to reduce the stress in your spine, helping you to move better, to heal better, and to feel better longer!
I was born in Russia and adopted when I was 5 years old. I lived in North Carolina for most of grade school and graduated from Appalachian State University (Go Apps!) with a degree in exercise science. While playing Quidditch in college (yes, the sport from Harry Potter), I met my wife Rachel. We moved to Dallas when I was accepted to the chiropractic program at Parker University, but as many of you know, the mountains have a way of calling you back. Rachel and I are thrilled to be settling down in the town where our hearts feel most at home.
In my free time, you can find me hiking, enjoying the outdoors, watching movies, playing with our two dogs and cat, or enjoying a cup (or two… or three) of coffee.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you and your family on your health journey. It will be my honor to serve you.
